How to Use SATORILOCK Tablet

Step-by-Step Mnemonic Storage Guide

This article will guide you through the complete process — from generating your wallet mnemonic phrase to safely storing it in your SATORILOCK Tablet.

1. Before You Begin

Please prepare your cryptocurrency wallet and generate a mnemonic phrase (12, 18, or 24 words). You can use wallets such as MetaMask, OKX Wallet, or Binance Web3 Wallet.

Remember: If you don’t hold your keys, you don’t own your crypto. Never take screenshots or store your mnemonic online.

2. What’s Inside the Box

Your SATORILOCK package includes:

  • 1 × SATORILOCK Tablet (main body)
  • 1 × Instruction Manual with auxiliary card
  • 1 × Center Punch
  • 1 × Mini Screwdriver
  • 1 × Anti-tamper Sticker
  • 1 × Small Cross Screw

3. Preparing the Mnemonic

After generating your mnemonic phrase, open the manual and locate the password encoding section.

Each word in your mnemonic corresponds to a number based on the BIP39 standard. For example, the word “test” is ranked 1789 in the list of BIP39 words.

Refer to the full list on GitHub here: 🔗 BIP39 Word List

4. Marking the Code

Use the included auxiliary card to find and record the corresponding numeric code for each word.

Then, use the center punch tool to stamp the code onto the metal surface of your SATORILOCK Tablet.

  • Ensure each punched mark matches your intended word number.
  • Double-check your sequence before proceeding.

For demonstration, the word “TEST” corresponds to: 1 + 4 + 8 + 16 + 32 + 64 + 128 + 512 + 1024 (Example of binary encoding used in the system.)

5. Completing the Storage

After all words are marked:

  1. Close and align both metal plates of the SATORILOCK.
  2. Secure it with the provided screw using the screwdriver.
  3. Apply the anti-tamper sticker over the opening edge.

If the sticker is later damaged or removed, it indicates the device has been opened.

6. Safe Storage

Once completed, store your sealed SATORILOCK in a secure location such as:

  • Your personal safe
  • A locked drawer
  • Any location protected from heat, water, and fire

The SATORILOCK Tablet is made of 304 stainless steel and offers:

  • IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection
  • Fireproof and drop-resistant structure
  • Durability without electronic components

7. Recovery and Access

When you need to recover your wallet, open the SATORILOCK and read the stamped numbers.

Convert them back into words according to the BIP39 list to restore your wallet access.

Ensure you do this in a private environment, disconnected from any online networks.
